Michael Mardelle Buck, 64, Scot Ellingson, 53, and Jennifer Fisher, 54, were arrested last Thursday and charged with crimes relating to methamphetamine found in the Buck home in Elbow Lake. The three appeared in Grant County 8th Judicial District Court last Friday.

Michael Mardelle Buck, 63, Scot Ellingson, 53, and Jennifer Fisher, 54, all of Elbow Lake, appeared in Grant County 8th Judicial District Court last Friday for their initial Rule 8 hearing.
At a Rule 8 hearing, he will again be advised of his rights and given the opportunity to enter a guilty plea. If he doesn’t enter a guilty plea, an omnibus hearing is scheduled.
Buck and Ellingson are scheduled for omnibus hearings April 24. Fisher’s omnibus hearing is set for May 1.
At an omnibus hearing, the defendant pleads guilty or not guilty, the prosecution establishes probable cause for the charges, and issues involving evidence that has been submitted are discussed.
