On June 14, the Norcross Veterans Monument was rededicated, with over 170 attendees gathered to honor and remember the servicemen and servicewomen from the town of Norcross. The ceremony saw an additional 39 names, both of living and deceased veterans, etched into the monument, bringing the total count of honorees to 159. Notably, American Legion Post 378 of Herman and American Legion Post 351 of Barrett were both present at the ceremony.
This rededication marks the second such event for the monument, serving as a reminder of the men and women of Norcross who have served in the armed forces. These additional recognitions serve to maintain the legacy of those who have served, and ensures that their contribution to the community and the nation will not be forgotten.
