Brandie Burton and Lauren Grothen, from Grant County Social Services, get to play Santa’s helpers once a year. Last Wednesday, they bagged the donations to Toys for Tots and Teens. The toys were then distributed to 112 kids from 48 Grant County families on Thursday. “It’s my favorite job of the year,” said Grothen. The two reported that the community was very generous this year.
