Audrey Ann Ronhovde, 91, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2023 at Rolling Hills Assisted Living in Barrett, MN.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Peace Lutheran Church, Barrett. A private Interment at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Barrett, MN.
Audrey was born November 11, 1931, to parents Raymond and Gunhild Ronhovde in Grant County, MN. She attended rural country school in Lien Township District 14 and graduated Valedictorian from Barrett High School Class of 1949. After high school she worked as a bookkeeper at Our Own Hardware and went on to a forty-year career at Citizens State Bank in Barrett.
Audrey was involved with the Immanuel Lutheran Church and Cemetery and the Grant County Historical Society and served as treasurer for Lien Township and as an election judge.
She was honored to be Grant County Outstanding Senior Citizen of the Year and 2008 Grand Marshal of the Barrett Old Settlers Reunion parade.
Audrey enjoyed life on the family farm and had a special passion for cats. As a young girl, she won a 4-H award for bread baking and a trip to the State Fair. She was a fantastic bowler and loved playing bingo.
Audrey is survived by her brother Jimmie Ronhovde (Janice), nephews Brad Ronhovde (Stephanie Nogosek) and Gary Ronhovde, a niece Nancy Stavish (Matt) and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Ronhovde.
