Glenda F. Stier

Glenda F. Stier, 75 of Hoffman, died Sunday, August 28, 2022, 

at Hoffman Senior Living after a tough battle with alzheimers.

Glenda was born April 27, 1947, to Howard and Vicie (Cavender) Kolb in San Angelo, TX. 

Glenda met her husband, Lloyd Stier, in October of 1965 while both were stopped at a red light.  They were married 2 months later and remained married for 45 years, until  Lloyd’s death in 2011.

Glenda enjoyed dancing, reading, playing the slots and most of all she loved driving her red Avalanche.  If you knew Glenda, you knew she always had the coffee on and loved to gab. 

After her diagnosis with alzheimers in 2018, she declined quite rapidly and quickly became unable to enjoy most of these hobbies.  However, she was still dancing a week before she passed. 

She is survived by her daughters, Robbie Stier and Shelly Bergner (Kent); grandson, 

Kevin Stier; step grandchildren Shane Bergner (Ashley),  Kailey Bergner, 

Jessy Prokosch (Justin); great grandchildren Deon, Aubrianna, Carson and Cameron.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Stier and her parents, Howard and Vicie 

(Cavender) Kolb.

A private burial will take place on Saturday, September 3rd at 1 p.m. at  Lands cemetery in Hoffman. 

A celebration of her life will be open to all and take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3rd, following the burial, at the Hoffman Community Center in Hoffman.
