Jerome Kiehne, 82, of Hoffman, passed away on December 4, 2021 at the Douglas County Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He often stated that he was grateful that he did not have pain.
A memorial service was held on December 11, 2021, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Hoffman with Rev. Mark Mathews officiating.
Jerome Frederick Kiehne was born at home in rural Nelson, MN on February 9, 1939, to Carl and Edna (Olson) Kiehne. Memorials in Jerome’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Douglas County Hospice Program.
Dad will be missed greatly but we know that if he could, he would say “Don’t worry about me, I am finer than frog hair.”
