Judy Merie Stout, 80, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023 in her home in San Tan Valley, Arizona.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 1844 E Dana Avenue, Mesa, AZ, with Pastor Andre Miller, Sr. officiating. 

Judy was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota on May 5, 1942 to Orris and Harriet Haraldson. She grew up on the family farm in Elbow Lake, MN. Judy moved to Arizona in the 1960s and built a life full of family and friends in the Valley of the Sun. She was very dedicated to her church, St. Peter Lutheran and was a member for over 55 years. Before her passing on Tuesday she enjoyed one last Sunday with her church family. Judy enjoyed historical TV programs, a good paperback novel and decorating for the holidays. Judy and her late husband Bernie would endlessly decorate for and host a large Christmas open house each year at their long-time home in Queen Creek, AZ.

Judy is survived by her children LeAnn Reinhard (Dan), David (Kim) Nohre and Steven Nohre from her first marriage to Norman Nohre; LauraLeigh (Kenneth) Ripplinger and James (Lisa) McManis from her second marriage to Raymond McManis; Michael (Michelle) Stout, Gary (Colleen) Stout and Bradley (Sonja) Stout, children of her late husband, Bernard Stout (d. 2019); grandchildren, Christopher Reinhard, Sarah (Joey) Lohse, Lisa (Chris) Seefeldt, Christian, Joshua and Benjamin Ripplinger, Scott Stout, Brian, Sarah and Sam Stout; great-grandchildren Taylor Reinhard, Kira and Kaleb Lohse and Lucas and Connor Seefeldt; her siblings Dwaine (Jean) Haraldson, Renae (Al) Thompson, Lorae (Gene) Farrell, Jani (Jim) Thomas and Sherrie McCormick and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judy is preceded in death by her soulmate and husband, Bernard Stout; parents, Orris and Harriet Haraldson; and brother Don (Faye) Haraldson.
