Beyer leads trio of Bucs golfers with 10th-place finish at state

Border West sophomore Paige Beyer led a trio of Buccaneer golfers at the Class A State Golf Meet Tuesday and Wednesday, June 13 and 14, at the Championship Course at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker. Paige Beyer took 10th overall out of 86 female golfers at the tournament while juniors Aspen Beyer and Nolan Wilson also competed at state for the Bucs. 

“It was a great tournament and I’m very proud of the golfers who represented us,” Bucs coach Corey Spilde said. “Our golfers really gave their best and I personally saw some great shots, on a tough golf course. Pebble Creek can really cause some trouble, but our golfers always found a way to bounce back after a tough hole.”
