The Border West baseball season was cut short of a state tournament berth in the Section 6A playoffs, but that does not take away from a great season they had in the Little Eight Conference this season. As the winners of the conference, the Bucs had no shortage of recognition in the conference awards, including sweeping Coach of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year and Most Valuable Player.

James Paul and Mike Adelman were recognized as Coaches of the Year in the Little Eight Conference as co-head coaches for the Bucs. Brody Nachbor won the Offensive Player of the Year award in the conference and Kevin Casper earned the Pitcher of the Year and Most Valuable Player in the conference.

The Bucs had four players on the Little Eight Conference First Team and one more on the Second Team. Seniors Casper and Marshall Tolifson and juniors Nachbor and Braydon Andrews were put on the First Team and senior Jake Volker was on the second team.
