West Central Area Knights senior Lexi Bright capped off her career with a strong 1600-meter run at the MSHSL Class A State Track and Field Meet Friday, June 10, in St. Michael.
Coming down the home stretch of the race, Bright was a few positions back of the top five. She made up some ground and passed a couple of runners to earn the fifth place finish. Bright finished fifth overall with a time of 5:20.83.
