C-Squad finishes a strong season, 14-5

The WCA C-squad provided plenty of action this past season on their way to a 14-5 record. Submitted photo

The WCA C-squad wrapped up a successful 2021/2022 season with a 57 to 31 victory over Battle Lake in early March.  The Knights concluded the season with 14 wins and 5 losses.  A connected team defense led to yielding a mere 29 points per game, while unselfish play on offense resulted in an average of 45 points scored per game.  This was a fun group of young men to coach.  They brought a good work ethic to each practice, competed hard, and did a nice job adopting the principles of the Knights program into their play. The emphasis of our C-squad basketball team is on fundamentals and team development that will put the athletes in the best position to experience success in the years ahead.  We like to say we are putting the fun in fundamentals. A big thank you to all of this year’s team members for your hard work and dedication.   Team members include;  Ben Nyreen, Parker Prahl, Simon Moritz, Tucker McGee, Cash Nelson, Owen Sanstead, Ben Bye, Sam Hanson, Tristan Fagre, Aiden Guse, Austin Bennett, Isaac Fuoss, Aaron Biss, Marshall Dewey, Colin Dostal, Carter Kjesbo, Dajon Olson, Gavin Backman, Ollie St. Martin, Gavin Boll.
