It was a tough week for the WCA baseball team against two tough opponents. First, the team was on the road in Sauk Centre for a double header against the Mainstreeters. Sauk Centre took both games 10-0 and 6-1. Two days later, the Knights were off to Morris to play the Tigers. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta handed the Knights a 12-2 loss to move WCA to 0-4 on the season.

The Mainstreeters came out and bludgeoned the Knights in the first game of the doubleheader. The game was called for the 10-run rule after the fifth inning to give Sauk Centre a 10-0 victory.

Neither team scored any runs through the first three innings. Sauk Centre finally broke the ice with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Streeters struck again an inning later with seven big runs to end the game 10-0.
