The Dumont town team was busy last week with four games, including three over the weekend. The team pulled off three wins in the four games. First, they were on the road in Ortonville June 19 to play Ortonville and picked up a 15-1 win. Next, they were on the road again June 22 and lost to Atwater 4-1. Later that same day, the Saints bounced back with an 8-7 win over Montrose. The week wrapped up with an 8-4 win over the Minneapolis North Stars June 23.

Ortonville 1

The Saints had absolutely no trouble with the Rox on the road. They scored the first seven runs of the game and sprinted their way to a 15-1 victory.

Dumont started fast with two runs in the top of the first, three more in the third and added one run in the fourth and fifth innings to make it 7-0.

Ortonville was able to spoil the Saint shutout bid with a run in the bottom of the fifth. That run did not slow down Dumont, they scored one run in the top of the sixth and really put the game away with seven runs in the eighth to end the game at 15-1.
