The Warriors recently finished the final athletic season for Wheaton/Herman-Norcross before the volleyball team joins Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley to create a Border West volleyball team. The team finished the season 14-10 and had a number of players earning Little Eight Conference awards with Claire Rinke and Oaklee Martinek both being named to the Little Eight All-Conference Second team.
The Warriors started the season off hot with four wins in their first five matches. W/H-N stayed above the .500 mark throughout the entire season and started a roll at the end of the season. The regular season ended with six straight wins, including four wins and a first place finish in the Underwood Tournament to end the regular season.
With a 14-9 regular season record, the Warriors earned the eighth seed in the Section 6A playoffs and hosted the ninth seed Park Christian in the first round of the playoffs. These two teams faced off once in the regular season with the Warriors earning a 3-2 win over PC on the road. It was a different story in the playoffs with Park Christian sweeping the Warriors to end the season.
