The Minnewaska Lakers hosted five teams at Minnewaska High School August 18 for a preseason varsity volleyball scrimmage. Amongst the teams were West Central Area and Wheaton/Herman-Norcross competing in Minnewaska.
Each team played a number of matches. The teams would match up with one other squad and scrimmage for 25 minutes before moving onto the next opponent.
It helped both the Knights and the Warriors to play against a number of different teams to get a feel for playing against different styles.
