Despite the dreary weather, the West Central Area golf team was able to compete in three meets last week. The boys and girls were in Melrose and Sauk Centre for West Central Conference meets April 30. The boys finished second as a team in Melrose and won the Sauk Centre meet and the girls just two players competed as individuals. The team was back on the course three days later for an invitational at Pebble Lake Golf Course in Fergus Falls and both the boys and girls teams pulled off team wins.
