With the win over BBE, the Knights locked up a spot in the Section 6A finals with a chance to make it to state against Ada-Borup West. The Knights were the top seed in the south half (second in state) and Ada-Borup West was the two seed from the north half (third in state) and entered the game with a 25-4 record. In their second tight game in a row, the Knights came away with a 60-56 win over Ada-Borup West to punch their ticket to the Class A state tournament.

The Knights started the game hot and after a pick and roll bucket from Ben Bye gave WCA a 7-2 lead less than two minutes into the game.

Just a few minutes later, Ada-Borup West went on a 11-4 run to take their first lead at 13-11.

WCA jumped back in front and started to extend their advantage. Bye converted once again to make the score 24-15 in favor of the Knights. Just a minute later, Bryce Kjesbo made it 28-17.

Ada-Borup West did some work to cut away at the gap before halftime. WCA entered the break with a 30-25 advantage.

The Cougars started well in the second half to trim the lead down to 30-29 and eventually tied the game at 32-32.

With just over 14 minutes left in the game, Sam Hanson hit a three for the Knights to push the lead to two possessions at 37-32.

The Knights kept their noses in front, but could not quite shake the Cougars for the next three minutes, but Ada-Borup West did take a 43-42 lead with just over 11 minutes showing on the clock.
